Yoon Hyun Woo, played by Song Joong-Ki is a loyal personnel at Soonyang Corporation who ends up getting betrayed and murdered by a member of the group for covering up their succession schemes. However, to his surprise he wakes up in a body of a child reincarnated as Jin Do Jun , the youngest grandson of the Soonyang family in 1990s .
Jin Do Jun then embarks on the journey to find his killer and with the knowledge of the world and the times ahead through the life he has already lived , he cooks up the scheme to take over the soonyang group.
The story deals with the power tussle and succession wars in the Chaebol groups and is set in the background of booming Korean market and world IT boom after the Asian Financial Crisis.
The story brings back a bit of nostalgia where the viewers are left to wonder the possibility of going back in time and making things right, what one would do if they are ever allowed to go back in time. Will we go after money or become the richest person with the knowledge of future or just sit back and not make mistakes that have landed us in the trouble in the future. To all these question, the drama is still a drama with engrossing episodes but it clearly delievers a message that no matter what we do we cannot change the past. It is still our actions in the present that can help shape a better future.
